Motorsports Apprentice Mechanic
Canepa is seeking a Motorsports Apprentice Mechanic/Shop Helper.
This individual must be quality minded, hard-working, punctual, and dependable. We are a leading provider of Motorsports goods and services. We are located in beautiful Scotts Valley, CA.
Motorsport Apprentice Mechanic/Shop Helper will work with the Motorsports Department on a full time basis and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas:
Help with the movement of vehicles around the shop.
Help the mechanics completer their tasks.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Motorsports Department.
Inventory, photograph, and package parts for shipment/storage.
Maintain race vehicle transporter equipment, tools, supplies, inventories, etc.
Prepare and load race vehicle transporters before events. Unload upon return.
Mount and balance tire and wheel assemblies ESSENTIAL
Qualifications:
Basic automotive repair and maintenance skills are required.
Clean driving record with ZERO points.
Ability to work on an individual basis with limited direction.
Ability to work well with the public.
Ability to read and write in English.
Previous racing experience is an advantage
Must be prepared to attend events on weekends and after hours.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
