What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the contracting efforts of the client's provider network, primarily through the fulfillment of contract requests
- Ensuring complete and accurate information received from requestor to ensure proper document preparation
- Conducting necessary research and/or analysis to ensure appropriate document is prepared
- Negotiating any specific provisions for contract or amendment
- Researching contract language, policy, regulation, etc. to aid in interpretation or clarification of contract
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- One (1) year of experience in Managed Care or Administrative Contracting, Health Services, or Government Assistance programs
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Certification as a paralegal or legal assistant strongly preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare related contracts preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Windows
