130####### The RRT Staff Nurse performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic care for patients with overt and covert needs in supervised situations, for the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population.
Performs the nursing process for patients in more complex situations with assistance and supervision.
Assists with managing the patient care administered by other member of the nursing staff.
Assumes the responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader.
Educational Requirements:
SBAR communication class/ therapeutic education class competency Demonstrated competency in 12 Lead EKG License/Registration/Certification:
Current and active CA RN license.
Current BLS certification.
Unit specific certifications and qualifications.
Required :
Current ACLS certification Current PALS certification NIH Stroke Certification Preferred:
CCRN, CAPD certifications Position

PROCEDURES:
RRT can assist floor RNs with difficult IV starts when IV RN is not available.
Assist L&D in preparing patients for crash C-Sections.
Nuclear Med:
Administration of CCK and Lasix injections.
MEAL BREAK RELIEF:
