130####### Operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1) ( 50%) Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures 2) ( 10%) Instruct patients regarding procedures 5) ( 10%) Develop and process radiology film and examine film for properties such as definition, magnification and distortion.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Rad Tech, CPR Certfication, Medical Assistant Certification.
AMER REGISTRY RAD TECH (RG ARRT) preferred.
- Minimum of one year of x-ray experience preferred.
Minimum of one year Medical Assistant back office experience preferred.
- High School Diploma.
- Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot equipment operation and perform simple adjustments.
3.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management and peers.
4.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with difficult people.
5.
Excellent telephone skills.
6.
Passion for excellence in the care of patients and provision of timely and quality service.
7.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:
1.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint areas for radiography.
2.
Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing.

Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively and cope effectively in a fast paced environment.
5.
Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
6.
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
8.
Maintain current CPR.
Maintain current State of California X-ray Technician license.
9.
Maintain accurate records as directed.
11.
Work as a team member within DI and all other departments.
12.
Document work processes as required.
13.
Perform other duties as assigned.
