Summary:
A Polisher is primarily responsible for polishing precious metal jewelry pieces and removing defects such as spots or scratches.
Responsibilities:
Polish precious jewelry pieces with and without stones to meet quality and production standards.
Clean and recovery operations related to dust collection systems of the Polishing Department.
Count and record daily production results and verify the accuracy of all work orders.
Notify the Supervisor of any discrepancies.
Work in a team environment, maintaining a positive and respectful workplace.
Comply with policies and procedures while always maintaining professional conduct.
Participate and carry out team tasks by assisting co-workers with production, training, and any other team requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.
Perform various polishing techniques as well as the use of different buffing wheels and polishing compounds.
Work safely always by consistently following safe work procedures for polishers, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite.
Promote safety by making suggestions for improvement and promptly reporting all incidents and safety issues to your team leader.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
