This position will be located at one of our Paget House facility in Santa Cruz County.
Paget House specialize in providing emergency shelter for up to 90 day to Veterans in need.
This is a Full-Time position working 3 p.
m.
to 11 p.
m.
, Thursday - Saturday and day shift on Sunday.
Position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k benefits offerings.
On-Call and Part-Time positions also available.
Responsibilities:
Cooking and some cleaning.
Facility supervision when on solo shifts.
High School diploma or equivalent Ideal for BSW/Human Services major student Outstanding written communication and presentation skills Experience with public speaking Experience with homeless outreach, ideally with homeless Veterans Proficient in MS Office with Outlook, Excel & Word.
Web browser savvy.
Maintain a good driving record and be able to pass a background check Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude Veteran preferred but not required Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time All Final candidates must be approved by the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
