Responsibilities:
- Posting for all dental services rendered - Review and process dental insurance claims - Verify patient insurance coverage for eligibility, draft patient financial and provide financial presentation - Submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies - Post Insurance and patient payments - Follow up on unpaid or re-submit denied claims - Resolve billing discrepancies and issues with insurance companies - Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and billing questions - Submit unpaid accounts to collections and maintain account receivable current - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records - Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed to management and doctors -Answer phones, schedule appointments , referral correspondence Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and computer skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficient in dental and medical billing software (e.
g.
, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OMS Vision) - Knowledge of dental and medical PPO, HMO insurance plans, procedures, and coding (CPT, ICD-10) - Familiarity with electronic claim submission processes - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Customer service-oriented mindset If you are a detail-oriented individual with experience in dental billing and a passion for providing excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you.
