We are located on the westside of Santa Cruz and make laser engraved wood magnets, keychains, ornaments and pins for National Parks and gift shops around the country.
This is a part time or full time position, between 2 and 5 days per week.
Shifts are generally 8 hours long, but there is flexibility for students or folks with complicated schedules.
There are open shifts available early in the morning, mid day and at night.

Starting pay is $20/hr.
Full time employees (30
hrs/wk) receive a 401k with 4% employer match.
PTO/sick leave is based on hours worked and accrues at the rate of 3 weeks per year if working 40 hour weeks.
A typical day includes:
Assembling pins, keychains and ornaments.
Gluing magnets to wood pieces.
Packing and shipping orders.
Operating laser engravers (training will be provided, no experience necessary).
The majority of your time will be spent assembling small products.
This requires fast hands, finger dexterity and an eye for detail.
There is a strong focus on quality control and efficiency.
The tasks can be very repetitive, but a pair of headphones and good podcasts make the day go quickly! The plus side is you'll never have to deal with customers If you are an an artist or illustrator with graphic design experience there may be more opportunities! You'll thrive here if you.
