Primary responsibility of this position is to integrate current systems used by Janus staff into a selection of Netsmart technologies communicating by API.
The EHR Application Analyst specializes in:
Health Care Information Systems/Healthcare Business Needs Designing and Implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) application content Integration of Current Business Systems with Netsmart Electronic Health Record (EHR) Training and Integration of AVATAR and other Netsmart Platform Solutions Salesforce, Cerner, EPIC, EHRs, Microsoft Office Portfolio Programs Those without experience in or with Electronic Health Records will not be considered.
Your goal is to leverage technology solutions to simplify and expedite all aspects of health information management enabling staff to quickly and reliably access the information to help our clients and complete work related tasks.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements Develop and analyze functional specifications Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs Coordinate with vendors, external partners' IT staff, as well as internal IT, finance, and operations staff to build and implement technology solutions Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams Gather feedback from end users about system performance Plan and oversee projects (e.
g.
upgrades, hardware/software installations) Provide advice and technical training, and update source materials for health care software systems Keep abreast of technology trends and developments as it relates to EHR and data integration from multiple platforms.
Intermittent support of the help desk and system administration duties as needed and identified by the IT director.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as a Healthcare or EHR IT Business Systems Analyst - this is a must Healthcare/EHR IT Consultant, or similar role Experience in project management within a healthcare setting Knowledge of EHR and health information databases, system security and troubleshooting for innovative solutions, and training opportunities for staff Understanding of healthcare business practices Excellent communication skills Analytical mindset Solution oriented attitude, team player and collaborator Qualifications and Skills:
1 to 3 years directly related work experience with Electronic Health Records implementation and support (in lieu of direct experience, 2 to 5 years operational experience utilizing Electronic Health Records A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Health Information Management, or Computer Science and 3 years work experience or an Associate degree, industry certifications, and 5 years work experience Working knowledge of Electronic Health Record Platforms preferably from the Netsmart suite of technologies The ability to analyze, export and manipulate data from existing solutions ITIL Certification is a plus CITP or equivalent Certification is a plus CompTIA A
and Network
Certification is a plus Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and project planning skills, must have an innate curiosity and interest in Health Care Business Information Systems Strong process, time management and organizational skills Working knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS, or Microsoft Azure Working Knowledge of virtualization systems such as VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V Working knowledge of networking concepts and configuration Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory Working knowledge of applications, Including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro, QuickBooks Job Type:
