Administrative Services (FSAS) is a local Santa Cruz business that has served the Santa Cruz County and the surrounding area for over fifteen (15) years.
FSAS is a woman-owned and family-owned company that provides a wide range of capabilities to assist in the operations, bookkeeping, and human resources needs of other organizations.
This position is a support role for the company focusing on technology infrastructure, asset management, and systems management.
This position would support approximately 300 staff across 10 locations with the following duties and responsibilities (see below).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Troubleshooting a.
Provide light troubleshooting for technology problems (computers, desk/cell phones, applications, etc.
).
b.
Triage complex issues to our IT MSP provider, as needed.
c.
Interface with our IT MSP provider, as needed (assisting with tickets that are still open and coordinating with staff).
2.
Systems Management a.
Manage and resolve bugs for all Front St.
systems (Monday.
com, Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint).
b.
Manage and build enhancements for all Front St.
systems.
c.
Assist in pulling information from Front St.
systems for reporting.
3.
Telecommunications a.
Manage the company fleet of cell phones:
order new phones, manage upgrades, set up Mobile Device Management (MDM) on all phones, and deploy to staff providing any additional support needed.
b.
Update email distribution lists, as needed.
c.
Update phone lists, email lists, facility contact information sheets, as needed.
d.
Assist in enforcing company technology policies.
4.
IT Inventory Management a.
Assist in ordering new inventory (workstations, laptops, monitors, accessories, etc.
).
b.
Replace aging hardware and inventory.
5.
Training a.
Assist with technology-related onboarding and ongoing training activities (cell phones, company systems, technology policies, etc.
).
b.
Create technology-related training documents (quick reference guides).
c.
Create technology-related training videos, as needed.
6.
Other duties a.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Experience using database systems with an understanding of data structures, relationships, and reporting requirements.

Experience training others in using technology/systems.

Ability to document processes and procedures staff need to follow for each task/technology/system (training documentation).
5.
Must have proficient to advanced computer skills with each application in the Microsoft Suite--Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Outlook.
6.
Ability to manage inventory.
7.
Keep workspaces (physical and digital) organized.
8.
Ability to communicate professionally with other staff, our vendors, our clients, and our guests.
9.
Work well as a team member and self-driven as an individual.
10.
Read, speak, and understand English with enough ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and requirements associated with each company.
11.
Ability to compose standard letters and communications with proper format, grammar, punctuation, and spelling, using all parts of speech.
12.
Ability to exercise patience and calm in stressful situations.
13.
Must be able to adjust tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities and to manage a variety of activities simultaneously.
14.
Fast-learner when it comes to new systems, processes, and procedures is preferred.
PREFERRED SKILL SETS The following skills represent additional qualifications that we are looking for, but are not a part of the base qualifications needed to apply for this position:
1.
Experience in Monday.
com, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
2.
Self-starter looking for ways in which to improve systems, processes, procedures, and workflows.
3.
Experience in graphic design.
4.
Experience in web design.
5.
Typing speed of 50 WPM strongly desired.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
2.
Must be able to clear background check/clearance.
3.
Complete all one-time and annual training requirements, as directed.
4.
Work in a safe and acceptable manner following established safety procedures.
