We are proud to be an integral part of a system that provides housing and mental health services for over 300 consumers.
This position will be located at one of our adult residential care facilities in Santa Cruz County.
Our facilities specialize in providing services to adults with mental health disabilities while promoting healthy living and wellness in a spectacular setting.
This is an On-Call position.
Shifts worked between the hours of 11pm and 7am will receive a $2/hr differential.
Responsibility:
Caregivers provide care and supervision to residents including cooking, cleaning and assistance with hygiene and grooming.
Assists residents with self-administered medication and ensures compliance with medication policies and procedures.
Monitors and reports residents' progress.
Must be able to pass a criminal record clearance.
High School diploma or GED; one year experience providing consumer care to dependent populations may be required; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Knowledge of Title 22 regulations is strongly preferred.
Ability to exercise judgment, discretion, sensitivity, confidentiality and patience in dealing with residents and the general public.
